Cuticula Nail Lacquer

"Dreams Take Flight"

Price: $12.50 | No Cap

Inspiration: The Red Spotted Butterfly.

Description: "Dreams Take Flight" is a navy jelly base with orange to green shifting iridescent glitters, neon orange dots, neon yellow orange dots, and shifting ultra chrome flakes. Shown in 3 thin coats, plus 2 coats of Cuticula's Limitless QDTC and Cloud Cover matte top coat.

Thoughts: I love the depth of this polish! It represents the inspiration beautifully, and has a sort of antique, earthy feel. I noticed it did swatch a bit darker than it appears in the bottle. It dries nice and quickly with a textured finish. I used two coats of Limitless to bury some of this texture, but this isn't a necessary step.

Limitless Quick Dry Top Coat scented in 'Raspberry Sugar'

Price: $9.00 | No Cap

Description: The 'Raspberry Sugar' scent has juicy, candy, fruity top notes with long lasting sugary sweet bottom notes. It's a scrumptious, sweet-as-candy blend of sugared raspberries, with hints of plum and tiny little hint of floral. Some benefits of Limitless include: a 5 free formula that is non-smearing, non-shrinking, and dries to a rock hard finish. Click here for a full list of benefits and ingredients in Limitless Quick Dry Top Coat.

Thoughts: I carefully used the floating brush method, to seal in both the gradient and then the stamping without streaking. For this look, I did a quick sponge gradient using Night Owl's “Love Yourself” [purchased] and “Berry Merry” [purchased] with some rose stamping using stamping plate BP-73 [purchased] from Born Pretty, Night Owl's “Dark Hearted” [PR] and Starrily's “Magic Rainbow” [purchased]. As for the 'Raspberry Sugar' scent, it is pretty spot on. I absolutely get fruity raspberries and sweet spun sugar. Cuticula's scents with sugar notes are by far my personal favorites. While the scent isn't necessarily subtle, it isn't super strong either.

Fair Maiden Polish

"In Plume"

Price: $11.00 | No Cap

Inspiration: A photo of a magenta colored peacock.

Description: "In Plume" is a magenta pink to white thermal with a green-blue-violet shimmer, multichrome flakes and holo sparkle. Shown in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats. Some may be able to get away with only 2 coats.

Thoughts: Application was very smooth and easy. The dense shimmer does show some brush strokes, but they are easily straightened out. The cool state is such a beautifully vibrant orchid shade, and the white warm state is nicely opaque. It transitions easily, but I run cold, so it favors the cool state on me.

Thoughts: This one really surprised me, in that it felt so much more sophisticated once swatched than it appears in the bottle. It is such a gorgeous grassy, forest green filled with dense flakes and shimmer. Application was very easy and smooth. Coverage builds nicely with each thin, even coat. It looks great when matte as well.

》Glisten & Glow’s Cuticle Remover gently softens and removes excess cuticle as well as eponychium skin. It contains distilled water, potassium hydroxide, coconut oil and fragrance. Thoughts: Glisten & Glow's Cuticle Remover is gentle, yet powerful. It removes dry and dead skin, leaving fresh cuticles behind. Glisten & Glow's cuticle oil is the main oil I use personally. It provides long lasting nourishment while quickly absorbing into the skin and nails. The 'Citrus Refresher' scent is absolutely wonderful! It is strong, but not to the point of being overpowering. It’s both fresh and clean, with slightly sweet undertones.

WiTS Lotion scented in 'Butterfly Garden'

Price: $7.25 (2 oz) | 40 Cap

Inspiration: Beautiful gardens full of flowers that butterflies find irresistible.

Description: "What is This Sorcery?" or "WiTS" Lotion is packed full of skin-loving, nourishing natural ingredients that absorb quickly and leave your skin ultra moisturized. The 'Butterfly Garden' scent has top notes of Italian bergamot, rare camellias, and lime, followed by middle notes of lily, jasmine, and rose, and finished with hints of exotic sandalwood and vetiver.

Thoughts: As I've said before, WiTS has been my go-to lotion for years now! I always have a jar somewhere within reach. It absorbs quickly with a non-greasy formula, and provides intense hydration. A little goes a long way. I would highly recommend it. The 'Butterfly Garden' scent is very pleasant having rich, buttery and floral notes. It also has woodsy, musky notes as well.

"Strut Your Stuff"

Price: $12.00 | No Cap

Inspiration: A cocky rooster and it's beautiful plumage.

Description: "Strut Your Stuff" is a rusty brown/red base filled with scattered holo, red to orange to yellow shifting flakies and green to orange to gold shifting flakies. Shown in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: This polish sits very sheer, but it is beautiful nonetheless. It is such a unique, peachy rosewood shade. The holo sparkle is strong and perfectly combines with the shifty flakes. This one looks great matte as well. I’m very sensitive to orange staining, and wore this overnight and was left with some slight orange staining.

Night Owl Lacquer

"All Aflutter"

Price: $13.00 | No Cap

Inspiration: A picture of a long-tailed skipper butterfly.

Description: "All Aflutter" is a black/burgundy/red multichrome with blue/purple/red crystal chameleon flakes. Shown in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: This polish is so vampy! This is one of the most deep and dark uses of the black to red pigment I've seen yet. Application was very easy and controlled. Now, I did notice a smell with this polish. I think sometimes certain flakes will make a polish have an almost plastic-like smell before it dries. But once dry though, it was totally normal with no smell.

Pepper Pot Polish

"Butterfly in the Skyyyyy!"

Price: $11.00 | No Cap

Inspiration: The Sulphur Butterfly because of its bright yellow wings, and maker Mackenzie needing a little sunny inspiration from the grey Western Washington weather.

Description: "Butterfly in the Skyyyyy!" is a cheery neon yellow base w orange/violet shimmer and iridescent glitter of mixed sizes. Shown in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: This is a wonderful, highlighter yellow polish! Perfect for the upcoming spring and summer months. Application was very easy, with coverage building slightly with each coat. As a neon yellow, I fully expected it to not quite reach opacity with 3 thin coats. For full opacity and optimal brightness, this can easily be applied over a white base. The larger of the glitters in the polish are not very dense, so they appear pretty randomly.

Wildflower Lacquer

"I Wanna See Your Peacock"

Price: $13.00 | 300 US Cap | 50 UK Cap

Inspiration: White peacocks.

Shown in 3 coats, plus gloss and matte top coats. Some may be able to get away with 2 coats. Also shown as a single finger swatch is one coat over black.

Thoughts: What a stunning polish! It’s dazzling, glitzy, and eye-catching! It applies buttery smooth, with coverage building beautifully with each coat. The base itself is quite sheer, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the opacity built from the dense shimmer.
