"Stronger, Braver, Kinder"

Price: $11.00 individually | $22.00 as duo

Description: A purple to cornflower blue to icy blue thermal glowing with blue/green shimmer and holographic micro flakies. Shown here in 2 coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: I absolutely love this shimmery thermal! It just has such a wintry feel. Application was super smooth and easy, with wonderful coverage in just two coats. The cornflower mid-tone and icy blue warm tone can be a little hard to distinguish from one another. At the time of swatching, I honestly thought this was just a regular "two shift" thermal, but three shifts appeared distinctly once I put a matte top coat on.

"When it Rains, Look For Rainbows"

Price: $12.00 individually | $22.00 as duo

Description: A blackened violet to plum purple to blurple thermal filled with a rainbow of color shifting crystal chameleon flakes. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: The shifty flakes in this polish are so eye-catching! I found application to be easy, and coverage to build nicely. It transitions very easily, with the mid-tone plum shade appearing strongly on its own. When in the coldest state, it does appear to me to be closer to black than a shade of purple once swatched. I thought this one was stunning with a matte top coat as well.

January's Creme of the Month

"Surprise Me"

Price: $8.00

Description: A whited out lavender creme. Four finger swatches show a single coat with no top coat to show natural gloss finish and matte top coat. Stamping is shown over Night Owl's "Plum Intended" plus gloss top coat.

Thoughts: Night Owl always has such perfect cremes. This one is a wonderful, almost white shade with easy, buttery application. I was able to get away with one decent coat for opacity, but some may find it easier to go with 2 thin coats. As with most all Night Owl cremes, it stamps beautifully as well.

Again, these polishes are set to release Saturday, December 26th, at 6:00pm Mountain Time (8:00pm Eastern Time) at nightowllacquer.com!
