Ah November... the most delicious month of the year. Also, Heather's birth month! Woohoo! Happy Birthday, Heather!! This month's duo has to be one of my personal favorite sets of polishes in quite some time. Heather knocked these out of the park for sure! For November's Monthly Duo, the Hue-t-pies were tasked with submitting photos fitting the theme "Feast Your Eyes On This!" The polishes created have perfectly captured the delicious inspirations: a pair of Granny Smith apples, coated in teal candy and wrapped in Nerds Rope; and a divine, two-toned, blackberry topped cake. Mmmm... Let's dive in!

In case you're new to the Monthly Duo, each month Heather tasks the members of her Facebook fan group, the Hue-t-pies, to submit photos fitting a theme of her choice. The photos are whittled down to 10, then the group votes for their favorite 2 photos to inspire Heather to create something new and special for that month. Join in on the fun for next month, and peep at the inspiration photos for these by joining us in the Facebook group here: www.facebook.com/groups/HeathersHueTpies

"Candied Apples"

Price: $12.50

Description: "Candied Apples" is a deepened teal jelly packed with a mix of lime and teal holo glitters, and a mix of both multichrome and iridescent flakes in pink, purple, gold, orange, and green. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: This is such a perfect, squishy jelly polish! All the beautiful add-ins perfectly mimic the Nerds Rope from the inspiration photo. I thought the formula sat a touch on the thicker side, but this did not affect the application, which was super smooth and easy. Coverage built nicely thanks to the dense glitters and flakes. Any clean up or touch ups were simple, with no staining of the cuticle or nails left behind.

"Frosted Berries"

Price: $12.50

Description: "Frosted Berries" is a thermal polish that changes from a deep blackened eggplant when cold, to boysenberry when warm, has just a touch of fuschia and black holo microglitters, and garnet microglitters. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats. Shorter nails would probably only need 2 coats.

Thoughts: This may just be my favorite thermal... maybe ever! It's simplicity is just stunning. The formula is perfect, applying in thin, even, quick drying coats. The transition from warm to cool states is gradual, showcasing both vampy shades beautifully. When topped with a matte top coat, this polish is transformed into a sophisticated jaw-dropper. Don't miss out on this one, y'all!

These beauties will be available throughout the month of November only at HeathersHues.com!
