Gosh y'all! Where did April even go? I don't know what it is about this whole staying home thing, but time seems to just be flying right on by! Hard to believe it's May already, but you know what that means... a brand new duo from Heather's Hues is here! For May's Monthly Duo, Heather tasked the Hue-t-pies to submit photos fitting the theme "Passion for Fashion!" And yet again, Heather has created a perfect pair that will knock your socks off! You can pick up these beauties right now, individually or together, at HeathersHues.com!

In case you're new to the Monthly Duo, each month Heather tasks the members of her Facebook fan group, the Hue-t-pies, to submit photos fitting a theme of her choice. The photos are whittled down to 10, then the group votes for their favorite 2 photos to inspire Heather to create something new and special for that month. Join in on the fun for next month, and peep at the inspiration photos for these by joining us in the Facebook group here: www.facebook.com/groups/HeathersHueTpies

[Note: In order to avoid any sort of copyright issues with the inspiration photos, I will not be posting them here.]

"Be Stil-etto My Heart"

Price: $12.50

Description: "Be Stil-etto My Heart" is a buildable purple jelly packed with a mix of iridescent glitters, flakes, and holo microshreds in golds, orange, green, and red. Shown here as 3 thin coats alone, a single coat over a dark plum, as well as over a variety of other colors (labeled in picture). Each with a gloss top coat and/or matte top coat.

Thoughts: I let out an audible "oh wow" when I first took this out of the package! Somewhere between a flakie and glitter bomb, this is an iridescent lover's dream. It applies very easily in thin coats, and all the beautiful add-ins distribute themselves nicely. It dries quickly with a slight texture, but a single top coat smooths it right out. Due to the nature of jelly polishes like this, some VNL will more than likely peek through when worn as a stand alone polish. However, this polish takes wonderfully to tons of base colors and makes for an excellent flakie/glitter topper if you like more of a full coverage look.

"All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go"

Price: $12.50

Description: "All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go" is a brilliant blue jelly with a mix of iridescent flakes in orange-peach-gold and violet-blue, as well as a sprinkle of orange holo microshreds. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: This is absolutely packed with light catching goodness! Between the contrasting warm and cool toned flakes and holo shreds, a beautiful visual texture is created. Because of the density of flakes, the coverage or opacity seems to reflect more like that of a crelly than a jelly. It has a very easy to control formula that applies like butter in thin coats, with little to no touch up needed. It dries with very little texture that is perfectly smoothed out with a single coat of top coat. While this is gorgeous glossy, it takes on a whole new, softer look when matte.

These beauties will be available throughout the month of May only at HeathersHues.com!
