BCB Lacquers and Geekish Glitter Lacquers have come together to create a trio inspired by everyone's favorite game of whodunit! This is such a fun idea for collaborative trios. I'm hoping the makers decide to continue the game and create more in the future! If you missed out on guessing these answers, join the Facebook group A Game of Clue Collab to be informed of any future events and to check out more swatches of this game's solutions! Now, off to the Tudor Mansion to find out who, with what, and where Mr. Boddy was murdered!

"It Was Scarlett"

Description: A dark red polish with a red magnetic pull. Shown here in 3 coats, both magnetized and unmagnetized, with gloss and/or matte top coat.

Thoughts: This is a beautiful, sultry red! Just how I imagine Miss Scarlett herself. I found the polish to sit sheer, though coverage did build to opaque in 3 coats. I also found that thinner coats help to avoid any cuticle floods. If that does happen, even though it is red, this polish does not stain or cuticle or the nail plate itself. Some brush strokes can be seen, but mostly when unmagnetized.

"With The Candlestick"

Description: A copper-gold-green base with a dash of linear holo. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: I'm a sucker for golds, and this one perfectly mimics a brassy gold candlestick. The light dusting of holo in it is beautiful as well. The formula sits on the thinner side, but is easy to apply with the provided paddle style brush. I believe most could probably reach opacity in only two coats, but my longer nails called for three.

"In The Conservatory"

Description: A muted green polish with gold, silver and white flakes and a copper shimmer. Shown here in 3 thin coats, plus gloss and matte top coats.

Thoughts: I'm loving this mossy, organic green base shade. A perfect representation of the conservatory! The big metallic flakes and delicate shimmer work perfectly together as well. This one is also beautiful when matte. The formula is nice, applying in thin, even coats. However, I did find the base to be rather sheer, as I still had VNL at three coats. So, that being said, I'd consider this one to be more of a jelly polish than a full coverage one. But jellies can always be worn over a base creme if the translucent base isn't your thing.

All three polishes in this trio are wonderful shades for the upcoming holidays, and will be available to purchase December 11th, at 12pm Eastern at www.bcblacquers.com. The price for the trio will be $33 + shipping. Be sure to check out more from Geekish Glitter Lacquer as well, over at geekishglitterlacquer.com.
